              4.2.2.9(1) The Bachelor of Economics majors comprise units of a level higher than Level 1 to the value of at least 36 points as set out in the respective rules which follow.

              (2) If a student has been granted unspecified credit for a Level 1 unit or units on the basis of having previously completed work which is the same or substantially the same as a core unit in their chosen major, the student is required to substitute another unit for that core unit.

              Economics major (MJ-ECONS)

              4.2.2.10(1) The prerequisites for the Economics major are the units required under Rule 4.2.2.8(a) and (b).

              (2) The Economics major comprises all units in Table 4.2.2c (Economics major core units)—36 points.

              Quantitative Economics major (MJ-ECQNT)

              4.2.2.11(1) The prerequisites for the Quantitative Economics major are the units required under Rule 4.2.2.8(a) and (b).

              (2) The Quantitative Economics major comprises all units in Table 4.2.2d (Quantitative Economics major core units)—36 points.

              4.2.2.12 Rescinded [including Tables 4.2.2e and 4.2.2f]

              Employment Relations (Economics) major (MJ-EMPEC)

              4.2.2.13(1) The prerequisites for the Employment Relations (Economics) major are the units required under Rule 4.2.2.8(a).

              (2) The co-requisites for the Employment Relations (Economics) major are the following:

              (3) The Employment Relations (Economics) major comprises—

              (a) all units in Table 4.2.2g [Employment Relations (Economics) major core units]—12 points

              (b) one unit from Group A in Table 4.2.2h [Employment Relations (Economics) major options]—6 points

              and

              (c) one unit from Group B in Table 4.2.2h [Employment Relations (Economics) major options]—6 points

              and

              (d) except as set out in (4), two units from Group C in Table 4.2.2h [Employment Relations (Economics) major options]—12 points.

              (4) Students who choose EMPL1101 Introduction to Employment Relations from Group A or EMPL1102 Australian Employment Relations from Group B in Table 4.2.2h [Employment Relations (Economics) major options] must take an additional unit from Group C in Table 4.2.2h for each of those units chosen.

              Money and Banking major (MJ-MONBK)

              4.2.2.14(1) The prerequisites for the Money and Banking major are—

              (a) the units required under Rule 4.2.2.8(a);

              and

              (b) ACCT1101 Financial Accounting.

              (2) The Money and Banking major comprises all units in Table 4.2.2i (Money and Banking major core units)—36 points.

              International Business Economics major (MJ-INTBE)

              4.2.2.15(1) The prerequisites for the International Business Economics major are—

              (a) the units required under Rule 4.2.2.8(a);

              and

              (b) ACCT1101 Financial Accounting.

              (2) The International Business Economics major comprises all units in Table 4.2.2j (International Business Economics major core units)—42 points.

              4.2.2.16 Rescinded [including Tables 4.2.2k and 4.2.2l]
