Honours course

Honours in Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing

Honours in Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing is offered to students based on the attainment of high grades in their undergraduate major as determined by the University. In this honours specialisation, you will complete a research project under supervision and undertake relevant research training units. You will also be expected to engage in scholarly activities of the School and more broadly within the University. Successful completion of Honours in Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing will provide you with the prerequisite knowledge and skills to proceed to enrolment in a higher degree by research. Alternatively, it will prepare you for careers in the health industry that require superior research skills and advanced problem solving and communication skills.

Entry requirements: the equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 65 per cent in the Level 3 units of the Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing major.
