Unit Overview

Description

CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification is aimed at industry security professionals to certify knowledge in eight domains: Information Security and Risk Management; Asset Security; Security Engineering and Architecture; Communication and Network Security; Identity and Access Management; Security Assessment and Testing; Security Operations; and, Software Development Security.

Training for this certification would take place through UWA and provide practitioners with the background knowledge and understanding to take the CISSP certification exam. The certification exam is an external exam administered through ISC2 (https://www.isc2.org/Certifications/CISSP). Taking this training through UWA would enable the students to benefit from UWA support and unit credit in addition to preparing for the certification exam.

There are extra fees associated with this unit.
