Content This unit focuses on one particular heritage topic. The topic varies from year to year. The unit is custom designed to meet the particular interests of enrolled students and the availability of guest lecturers. It provides the opportunity for an in-depth consideration of a heritage subject not otherwise covered in the Heritage Studies degrees and that is of special topical relevance.
Outcomes Students are able to (1) think critically around a specialised heritage topic; (2) debate ideas on a particular heritage topic; (3) orally present ideas on a particular heritage topic; and (4) write cogently about a particular heritage topic.
Assessment Typically this unit is assessed in the following ways: (1) a major essay; (2) class participation; and (3) class presentations. Further information is available in the unit outline.

Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit.

Note This unit is available for on line enrolment during one teaching period in any given calendar year. Students may request to undertake this unit in the other listed teaching periods by completing a manual enrolment form for the unit coordinator to approve on a case by case basis.
