Unit Overview

Description

This unit is designed for students to consider the research possibilities within creative practice. It introduces students to creative writing as a research discipline. It examines various facets of the discipline and offers the opportunity to work on a project of substantial creative writing in any form. Students will also submit writing for workshop and read a selection of contemporary research/creative works in order to develop an advanced sense of the possibilities in current literary practice. Finally, this unit will consider the intersections between theory in creative writing and literary studies.
