Japanese Language and Culture minor

This Minor combines language study and cultural knowledge of Japanese society and is designed to boost the employment prospects of STEM graduates. It equips students with the skills to communicate and negotiate with people of different cultural backgrounds. Graduates will be able to speak and behave appropriately in different situations and contexts, and demonstrate an understanding of Japanese culture and society. By pairing with a Major in Medicine, Social Sciences, Science or Engineering, students gain an advantage after graduation as they enter the global employment market.
