Honours Overview
- Description
An Honours in Management provides you with foundation research training in the Management discipline at an international standard. Honours graduates will have the skills needed to plan and conduct research to investigate problems in management and business. You will apply a number of current advanced methods for research and analysis, and develop your knowledge and skills further. Upon completion you will have the capacity to enter business as a capable and knowledgeable graduate with potential as a future manager. The successful honours graduate will also be ready to enter a postgraduate research degree in management, such as the PhD.
- Outcomes
Students are able to (1) demonstrate coherent and advanced knowledge of the underlying principles and concepts in management; (2) demonstrate knowledge of research principles and methods; (3) apply advanced management knowledge to solve complex problems; and (4) communicate effectively and succinctly the results of management research.
- Entry requirements
The equivalent of a UWA weighted average mark of at least 75 per cent in the Level 3 units in the Management major.
