Description

This unit focuses on the anatomy of limbs and teaches the relevant embryology, gross anatomy, functional application and imaging to ensure a holistic understanding of human anatomy of limbs

Outcomes

Students are able to (1) describe the topographical anatomy of the limbs; (2) demonstrate an understanding of the functional anatomy of the limbs; and (3) demonstrate an understanding of anatomical, developmental and evolutionary principles illustrated by the regional anatomy of limbs.

Assessment

Indicative assessments in this unit are as follows: (1) weekly laboratory preparation and participation; (2) final exam; and (3) in semester writing tests. Further information is available in the unit outline.



Student may be offered supplementary assessment in this unit if they meet the eligibility criteria.
