Unit Overview

Description

Students will select from a variety of design studios, offering a range of project types, that address architecture of a public scale. They will develop iterations of design concepts that engage with typological and formal precedents. In their projects, students will demonstrate the consideration of regulatory constraints and application of the various technical aspects of architectural design including site planning, environmental design, construction types and services. The final architectural propositions will be developed to an advanced level of programmatic, spatial, service resolution and integration.
