Unit Overview

Description

This unit provides an in-depth understanding of the major concepts, theories and practices of group dynamics and team processes for leaders and managers in team models integrated with Building Information Modelling (BIM).

It emphasises ideas of leadership, collaboration and performance. Students apply knowledge of key skills managing team facilitation processes, examine processes that enhance team effectiveness and understand how to implement self-managed teams in BIM models.

Outcomes

Students are able to (1) competently manage teams and workflows in team models integrated with Building Information Modelling and (2) develop processes that enhance team effectiveness and performance and implementation of self-managed teams.

Assessment

Indicative assessments in this unit are as follows: (1) assignment 1 - Teams and Workflows and (2) assignment 2 - Effectiveness and Performance. Further information is available in the unit outline.



Student may be offered supplementary assessment in this unit if they meet the eligibility criteria.
