Unit Overview

Description

Performance students further refine musicianship, technical skills and repertoire addressed in previous Principal Studies units. The emphasis is upon the the study of advanced repertoire drawn from the literature of the student's principal instrument or voice, of greater difficulty than in previous units, and upon consolidating both technical and musical skills attained throughout Principal Studies 1 to 5. The unit culminates in a performance examination of repertoire selected to demonstrate these skills within a public recital.
