Description

Students who satisfy the prerequisites may write a dissertation (15,000 words) on a course relevant topic of their choice, provided the topic is approved by a staff member who agrees to supervise the project.

Students are able to develop the abilities to undertake research at postgraduate level and present their findings in an academic dissertation..

Assessment

Indicative assessments in this unit are as follows: submission of a dissertation. A final mark is awarded at the completion of dissertation parts 1 to 3.. Further information is available in the unit outline.

Students must have achieved 70 per cent
or above in SOCS4100 Social Sciences Research Skills and approval of the course coordinator to undertake this unit
