The students will design and complete a research project in the Laboratory of a member of staff in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry

Students are able to (1) develop skills in conducting research and (2) reporting of research.

Assessment

Indicative assessments in this unit are as follows: (1) a research proposal; (2) final report of the reseach undertaken; and (3) seminar presentation. Further information is available in the unit outline.



Student may be offered supplementary assessment in this unit if they meet the eligibility criteria.

Regular meetings with supervisors and time in the laboratory to be agreed with the supervisor.
