Unit Overview
- Description
The Capstone Unit provides Graduate Certificate of Tertiary Teaching (GCTT) participants with the opportunity to consolidate prior learning and draw from teaching and learning experiences to evidence professional capabilities relevant to their own context. Strategies for monitoring the impact of teaching and assessment approaches, reflection on professional growth and development, and evidence-based practice are key components of the Capstone unit. Capstone participants must evidence learning from GCTT units, shared learning and collaboration with peers, and relevant literature. Participants are provided support through regular connections with peers and supervision from the Unit Coordinator. Students will have the option of submitting the assessment for the HEA Fellowship application. If students select the HEA pathway, support, guidance, and feedback will be provided via the University of Western Australia process.
