Unit Overview

Description

The Ocean Leadership Research Project is a 12-point project undertaken over two successive semesters. Parts 1 and 2 must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the project. The main objective of the project is to develop a student's independent research and analytical abilities, and their written and oral communication skills. It is expected that the project normally involves original research leading to a publishable paper. Students negotiate a topic within one of the themes of the Master of Ocean Leadership with an academic supervisor. The project can commence in either semester 1 or semester 2.
