Unit Overview

Description

Graduates of this unit are expected to conduct research in applied contexts, implement evidence-based quality assurance procedures in their practice and that of others, and critically engage with research. Additionally, they should understand how high-quality research is conducted and reported based on their own experience.

To demonstrate these competencies, students will produce a written systematic review investigating a topic relevant to the practice of psychology, formatted as an article, following the PRISMA guidelines. Students will also present the research methods and outcomes at the end of the unit.
