                3.2.2.34(1) The major consists of units to a total value of 48 points comprising—

                (a) both units in Table 3.2.2ah (Geography major core units)—12 points

                and

                (b) units to the value of 36 points from Table 3.2.2ai (Geography major options), which must include units from Group B to the value of at least 18 points.

                (2) Students may substitute for one of the Level 1 units required under (1)(a)—

                (a) a unit of equivalent value from Ancient History, Anthropology, Archaeology, Asian Studies, European Studies, History, or Political Science and International Relations;

                or

                (b) with the permission of the Faculty, a language unit of equivalent value.
