                  1 Students who are native speakers of Japanese or who have been fully or partially educated in Japanese are not admitted to Japanese language units.

                  3.2.2.14 The major consists of units to the value of 48 or 54 points comprising—

                  (a) all units in Table 3.2.2j [Japanese major (Beginners' stream) core units]—30 points

                  and

                  (b) either

                  (i) all units in Group A in Table 3.2.2k [Japanese major (Beginners' stream) options]—18 points

                  or

                  (ii) one of the units in Group B in Table 3.2.2k [Japanese major (Beginners' stream) options]—24 points.
