                  3.2.2.24 The major consists of units to a total value of 48 points comprising—

                  (a) all units in Table 3.2.2vA [French major (Beginners' stream) core units]—42 points

                  and

                  (b) one unit from Table 3.2.2vB [French major (Beginners' stream) options]—6 points.
