Unit Overview

Description

This unit introduces students to a range of educational teaching models utilising a combination of sporting and recreational activities. The unit is designed for pre-service teacher training. Students are expected to learn content, sports and movement skills, teaching strategies and movement analysis, to assist them in delivering practical-based education.

Outcomes

Through lectures and labs, students wil be able to plan lesson for a range of development levels, understand and critique a number of pedagogical models, present structured lesson to a range of dskill and development levels, work in groups to analysis skill, understand models of assessment.

Assessment

Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit except in the case of a bachelor's pass degree student who has obtained a mark of 45 to 49 and is currently enrolled in this unit, and it is the only remaining unit that the student must pass in order to complete their course.



Student may be offered supplementary assessment in this unit if they meet the eligibility criteria.
