Content This unit provides students with the opportunity of quasi-independent practice of general dentistry in preparation for graduation. This unit continues on from DENT5403 Integrated Dental Practice 2 in Semester 1.
Outcomes Students are able to consolidate their knowledge of comprehensive care and clinical competencies through quasi-independent practice under limited supervision in metropolitan Dental Health Services Clinics and the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia (OHCWA).
Assessment Typically this unit is assessed in the following ways: (1) integrated dental practice written examination; (2) integrated dental practice case presentation (barrier); and (3) integrated dental practice written examination (barrier). Further information is available in the unit outline.

To pass this unit, a student must: (a) achieve an overall mark of 50 per cent or higher for the unit; and (b) achieve the requisite standard(s) for the integrated dental practice case presentation (barrier) component of the unit, as specified in the unit outline.

Supplementary assessment is not available in this unit.
