- 3.2 Bachelor's degrees
- 3.2.6 Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) pass degree (11100) Only available to re-enrolling students.

Applicability of the Student Rules, policies and procedures
3.2.6.1(1) The Student Rules apply to students in this course.
(2) The policy, policy statements and guidance documents and student procedures apply, except as otherwise indicated in the rules for this course.
Applicability of the Faculty general provisions for bachelor's degrees
3.2.6.3 The Faculty general provisions for bachelor's degrees in 3.2.1 apply to the course.
Course structure
3.2.6.4(1) The course consists of units to a total value of 144 points comprising—
(a) all units in Table 3.2.6a [Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) core units]—42 points
and
(b) one unit from Group A in Table 3.2.6b [Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) options]—6 points
and
(c) Level 1 units to a value of 36 to 54 points from Table 3.2.2a (Bachelor of Arts options);1
and
(d) one unit from Group B in Table 3.2.6b [Bachelor of Arts (Communication Studies) options]—6 points
and
(e) Level 2 or 3 units from Table 3.2.2a (Bachelor of Arts options) to make up the remaining number of points required for the course and including units constituting a major chosen from the majors listed in Rule 3.2.2.5(1), excluding the double major in Psychology—36 to 54 points.
(2) Students are not permitted to include in the course, Level 1 units in any one subject area to a total value greater than 12 points.
1 Students are strongly recommended to include at least one additional Level 1 unit with a social sciences focus.
