      • Chinese major (Advanced stream)

        Students who have studied standard modern Chinese Mandarin at primary/secondary school level in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore or Taiwan, may enrol in the Chinese major (Advanced stream). This stream is also open to students who have completed Advanced Chinese at secondary school. Native speakers of Chinese may not complete a major in Chinese without special approval from the Faculty.

      • Indonesian major (Beginners' stream) 1

        1 Students who are native speakers of Indonesian and/or Malay or who have been fully or partially educated in one of these languages are not admitted to Indonesian language units.
